Easy Vanilla and Cinnamon Rice Pudding

       
 There's nothing like the creamy , sweet comfort of homemade rice pudding .The brown sugar in this recipe lends a caramel like sweetness ,while cinnamon and rum soaked raisins add warmth and depth . Either cinnamon will work in this dessert , but true cinnamon makes a more harmonious match .

Cinnamon rice pudding offers more health benefits than other desserts ,such as custard or ice cream.With fewer calories than other dairy treats , rice pudding offers around 4 grams of protein per 1/2 cup ,a good course of calcium and is low in cholesterol .

Rice pudding can be fairly high in carbohydrate , running anywhere from 20 to 40 grams , depending on the type of rice pudding that you enjoy .Rice pudding also offers a small amount of both vitamin A and vitamin C per 5 ounces serving .

Ingredients
Serves 2
350 ml water or rice milk
100 g organic abort grain brown rice
1/4 stick cinnamon
1/4 pod vanilla
2 tbsp brown sugar
pinch of salt
1 egg
1/3 cups raisins

Method
1 .In a medium sized saucepan, bring the milk , rice and salt to a boil over high heat . Reduce heat to low and simmer until the rice is tender about 20-25 minutes .

2. In a small mixing bowl ,whisk together egg and brown sugar until well mixed . Add a half of the hot rice mixture  to the egg mixture ,a tablespoon at a time , vigorously whisking to incorporate .

3 . Add egg mixture back into the saucepan of rice and milk and stir on low heat for 5-10 minutes until thickened .Stir in the vanilla .Remove from heat and stir in the raisins and cinnamon .

4 . Serve warm or cold.

For something fruity and warm to sweeten winter evening , try the coconut rice pudding with caramelized bananas .

Coconut Rice Pudding with Caramelized Bananas
Serves 4

Ingredients
11/2 cups white rice
1/4 cup white sugar
800 ml coconut milk
2 cups water 
2 large bananas ,sliced
50 g butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
shredded coconut ,to serve

Method
1 . In a large pot mix together the rice , sugar, coconut milk and water .

2. Bring to the boil then simmer on a low medium heat while stirring occasionally for 40 minutes or until the pudding is a thick creamy consistency .

3 .For the caramel bananas put the butter in a pan on medium heat . When the butter has melted add the sugar and mix to combine .

4 . Add the sliced banana mix to cover with the sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes .

5, Spoon the pudding into a serving bowl, top with the caramel bananas and sprinkle with shredded coconut .

Yummy Garlic Chicken Pizza

        Whether you are hosting a party , enjoying a movie with family or just want to change up your Pizza Night , this easy Garlic Chicken Pizza is sure to please the crowd ! 
         It's not only delicious , but in about 20 minutes you can serve your family a garlicky good , three cheese and chicken pizza that's just as good as what you'd get at a  pizza restaurant .

Ingredients
Serves 4




4 ounces light cream cheese , softened
1/4 cup nonfat sour cream
2 cloves garlic, mashed
1 cup cooked chicken , diced
1/2 cup red onions , cut in rings
1 tomatoes , chopped
1/2 cup mushroom , sliced
1 cup mozzarella  cheese , part
   skim milk , shredded
1 pizza dough 
3 tbsp Parmesan cheese 

Method
1 . Preheat oven to 350 degrees .

2 . Mix together the cream cheese , sour cream and mashed garlic until smooth .

3. Spread on the pizza crust .

4 .Top with the chicken ,onion,tomato, mushrooms and cheese .

5 . Bake for 15 minutes or until the crust is done and the cheese is melted .

6 . Top with Parmesan cheese .

Make pizza tips:
-A great pizza must have a great crust .A soggy crust will never do.Instead of piling the goodies on the uncooked dough , partially bake it first .Usually about eight minutes will do .Then pull it out of the oven , put the toppings on , and finish baking .

- Don't under bake the crust .The crust is done when the bottom is partially browned .Use a spatula or tongs to lift one edge and peek at the crust .

-Never use a light-colored pan for baking a pizza .It will reflect the heat and you will have a hard time baking the crust thoroughly .

-Place the pizza low in the oven where radiant heat from the heating elements will help bake the crust .

- For a really great pizza crust ,once the dough is kneaded , cover it and place it in the refrigerator over night .The next day , remove the dough and let it rise on the counter .Allow plenty of time for the dough to come to room temperature and rise .At lower temperatures ,the yeast produces a complex yeasty flavor that is very good .

Easy Garlic Chicken

   Garlic chicken has always been one of my favorite foods .  
  No matter how simple the recipe, garlic chicken is always a hit !Garlic chicken breasts are a quick and easy meal that can be adjusted depending on how much you love garlic .
         This recipe calls for sauteing the chicken breasts , which is a great way to get the most out of garlic as far as taste and health benefits .Try these easy , quick and delicious recipes . Enjoy !

Ingredients
Serves 4

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp olive oil
salt and pepper
additional herbs and spices as desired

Method
1 . Preheat oven to 450 F line a baking dish or cookie sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat with cooking spray or lightly brush with oil .

2 . In small saute pan ,saute garlic with the oil until tender .

3 .Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar . Add additional herbs and spices as desired .

4 . Season chicken with salt and pepper .Place breasts in a prepared baking dish and cover with the garlic and brown sugar mixture .

5 . Bake un covered for 15-30 minutes or until juices run clear . Cooking time will depend on the size and thickness of your chicken .
Tips for how to cook moist baked chicken breast
-Allow the chicken to come to room temperature before you cook it, or you'll end up with meat that's overcooked on the outside and raw in the middle .
-Set the oven at a moderate temperature 350 degrees F is ideal .
-Use a meat thermometer .This inexpensive tool is hands -down the best way to ensure that every piece of meat you serve is perfectly cooked . 
Lemon Garlic Chicken Pasta



Ingredients 
Serves 4

1/2 stick butter
4 boneless ,skinless chicken breasts
4 cloves of garlic ,crushed
3 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup chicken broth
salt and pepper
dried basil , to taste

Method
        Melt butter in a large or 2 smaller over medium high heat . Season rinsed and dried chicken breasts with salt and pepper .Saute 3-4 minutes on each side to brown , adding garlic during last 2 minutes .Add stock and lemon juice , bring to the boil .Reduce heat , cover and simmer 15-20 minutes until chicken is barely pink in the center .Remove from pan and keep warm .Turn up heat ( combine liquids from 2 skillets and bring to the boil , add herbs and simmer for 2 minutes .Season to taste .
       Meanwhile cook pasta about 3 minutes .Drain and toss into liquid herb sauce . To serve , divide pasta among plates .Top with your choice of prepared vegetables . Add chicken breasts either whole or sliced and funnel along edge of pasta .

300 ml fresh yogurt
2 garlic cloves, crushed
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs such

4 large skinned ,boned chicken
   breast
olive oil for oiling
8 firm stems of fresh rosemary
   (optional)
salt and pepper
lemon wedges, to garnish
shredded romaine lettuce and rice ,
   to serve

method
1 . To make the sauce,put the yogurt ,garlic, lemon juice, herbs, salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix well together .

2 .Cut the chicken breasts into chunks measuring about 1 1/2 inches square.  Add the yogurt mixture and toss well together until the chicken pieces are coated .Cover and marinade in the refrigerator for about 1 hour . If you are using wooden skewers ,soak them in cold water for 30 minutes before use .

3 .Preheat the grill .Thread the pieces of chicken onto 8 flat , oiled , metal kebab skewers , wooden skewers or rosemary stems and place on an oiled gridde pan .

4. Cook the kebabs under the grill for about 15 minutes , turning and basting with the remaining marinade occasionally ,until lightly browned and tender .


5 . Pour the remaining marinade into a saucepan and heat gently but do not boil . Serves the kebabs with shredded lettuce on a bed of rice and garnish with lemon wedges .Accompany with the yogurt sauce .

Chicken kebabs tips:
When using metal skewers apply a light coating of cooking oil or cooking spray before threading foods to ensure they will come off with ease .When planning to grill using wooden skewers , soak them in cold water at least twenty minutes before you plan to thread and cook .Moisture prevents the wood from catching fire and scorching your food .You may also want to use a light coating of oil or cooking spray on wooden skewers depending on the type of wood skewer you select .Regardless of the type of skewer , cook over medium high heat to be sure the interior of your food is cooked appropriately while fully caramelizing the exterior without overly searing or charring .

Strawberry -Buttermilk Sherbet

2 cups fresh strawberries
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
fresh mint sprigs to garnish

Method
1 Process strawberries in a food processor or blender 30 seconds or until smooth , stopping to scrape down sides .Pour strawberries puree through a fine wire mesh strainer into a large bowl , pressing with back of a spoon .Discard solids .Add buttermilk, sugar and vanilla to puree ,stir until well blended .Cover and chill 1 hour .

2 . Pour strawberry mixture into freezer container of a 11/2 qt. electric ice cream maker .and freeze according to manufacturer's instruction .Garnish if desired .

Bang Bang Chicken

 Bang bang chicken was traditionally served in China by street vendors in the Hanyang district who sold cold , cooked chicken drizzled with a spicy sauce as a snack  .The recipe was named bang bang chicken because of the batons that were used to hammer the cleaver blades that loosed the chicken fibres for shredding .

Ingredients                 
Serves 4 

350 g / 12 oz boneless , skinless
     chicken meat
few drops of sesame oil 
2 tbsp sesame paste
1 tbsp light soy sauce 
1 tbsp chicken stock
1/2 tbsp salt 
pinch of sugar
8 tbsp shredded lettuce leaves
1 tbsp sesame seeds, roasted 
   to serve
             
Method
1 . Place the chicken in a saucepan of cold water , then bring to the boil and simmer for 8-10 minutes  . Drain and let cool a little , then cut or tear the chicken into bite size pieces .

2 . Mix together the sesame oil , sesame paste , light soy sauce , chicken stock , salt and sugar and whisk until the sauce is thick and smooth .Toss in the chicken .

3 . To serve put the shredded lettuce on a large plate and spoon the chicken and sauce on top . Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and serve at room temperature .

Easy Happy Birthday Cupcakes

Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes
Ingredients


1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist party rainbow chip cake mix .
24 flat bottom ice cream cones
1 to 2 containers Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy frosting (any flavor)

Method
1. Heat oven 350 F  (325 F for dark or nonstick pans ). Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular size muffin cups .

2 . Make cake batter as directed on box . Divide batter evenly among muffin cups ( two - thirds full ) . Place ice cream cone upside down on batter in each cup .

3 . Bake 16- 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean (cones may tilt on batter ). Cool completely about 30 minutes .Remove paper baking cups .Generously frost cake with frosting and decorate as desired . Store loosely covered .

Mars mallow Cupcakes



Ingredients
1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist white cake mix .
water , vegetables oil and egg whites called for on cake mix box .

2 containers Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy white frosting .
24 to 30 large mars mallows 
.
Betty Crocker colored sugar or candy sprinkles .
white or colored birthday candles 

Method
1. Heat oven to 350 F( 325 F for dark or nonstick pans ).

2 . Make , bake and cool cake mix as directed on box for 24 cupcakes .Frost cupcakes with frosting .

3 . Spray blades of kitchen scissors with cooking spray . Cut mars mallows crass wise into slices , sprinkle with colored sugar .

4 . Arrange on cupcakes in flower shape .Place candle center of each flower .Store loosely covered .

Greek Chicken With Rice -

      This is one of the easiest recipes to cook , and one of the most tempting to eat .Adjust the garlic down if it's not a favorite , and the classic taste pf cheese and oregano will still make the this dish uniquely Greek .

Ingredients
Serves 4
8 chicken thighs
2 tbsp corn oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves , finely chopped
175 g long- grain rice
225 ml chicken stock
800 g  canned
    chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
2 tbsp chopped fresh oregano
12 blacks olives, pitted and chopped
55 g  Feta cheese , crumbled
   fresh oregano springs, to garnish

Method
              
1. Heat the oil in a flameproof casserole . Add the chicken ,in batches , if necessary , and cook over medium heat, turning occasionally , for 8-10 minutes or until golden .  Transfer to a plate with a perforated spoon .

2 . Add the onion , garlic , rice and 50 ml /2 fl oz of the stock to the casserole and cook , stirring for 5 minutes or until the onion is softened . Pour in the remaining stock and add the tomatoes and their juices and the herbs .

3 . Return the chicken thighs to the casserole , pushing them down into the rice . Bring to the boil ,then reduce the heat ,cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and tender . Stir in the olives and sprinkle the cheese on top . Garnish with oregano springs and serve immediately .

Cream Of Chicken Soup


     Creamy of chicken soup is low in calorie and high in vitamins .Preparing homemade chicken broth to use in the soup ,is a good way to cut the trans fat and boost of the level of vitamin A .
        Enjoy this cream of chicken soup recipe alone or serve it with a salad to make it a meal .

Ingredients
Serves 4

3 tbsp butter
4 shallots , chopped
1 leek , sliced
450 g / 1 lb skinless chicken
  breast , chopped
600 ml / 1 pint chicken stock
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp fresh thyme ,
   plus extra springs to garnish
175 ml / 6 fl oz double cream
salt and pepper

Method               
1 . Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat . Add the shallots and cook , stirring for 3 minutes until softened . Add the leek and cook for a further 5 minutes . Stirring . Add the chicken , stock and herbs , and season . Bring to the boil then simmer for 25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through . Remove from the heat and leave to cool for 10 minutes .

2 . Transfer the soup to a food processor or blended and process until smooth ( you may need to do this in batches ). Return the soup to the rinsed out pan and warm over a low heat for 5 minutes .

3 . Stir in the cream and cook for a further 2 minutes , then remove from the heat and ladle into serving bowls . Garnish with sprigs of thyme and serve immediately .

variation
For a low fat option , omit the double cream and replace half the chicken stock with semi-skimmed milk . The soup will still taste smooth and creamy .

Chicken soup tips:
Using only breast meat
It's not wrong to use chicken breast when making this classic soup .You can use any part of the chicken , but chicken breast is bland , so using this cut alone doesn't add any extra flavor or richness to the soup .

If you 're not using a whole chicken , use chicken thighs preferably bone- in) ,or a combination of thigh and breast meat .Chicken thighs have tender , juicy meat that's full of flavor and adds more richness to the soup than breast meat alone .

Adding all the vegetables at the same time.
Whether it's thick-cut carrots , peas ,green beans ,corn, or perhaps leafy greens ,chicken noodle soup isn't complete without a hearty mix of vegetables .Keep in mind that these veggies don't all require the same cook time .Add quick -cooking vegetables too soon, and they'll be overcooked and mushy by the time your soup is ready .

Add hearty vegetables that take longer  to cook , like carrots ,early on , and toss in the quicker cooking vegetables , like peas and corn , just a couple minutes before the soup is finished cooking .
 
 

Filo Chicken Pie

A good pie  such a comforting classic .Excellent choice for left over chicken .For a richer pie , use half and half instead of milk .


Ingredients
Serves 6-8

1.5 kg whole chicken
1 small onion,halved,
3 large onions, finely chopped
1 carrot ,sliced thickly
1 celery stalk,sliced thickly
pared rind of 1 lemon
1 bay leaf
10 peppercorns
155 g butter
55 g plain flour
150 ml milk
 25 g   cheese,grated
3 eggs,beaten
225 g filo pastry
salt and pepper
                          
method
1.Put the chicken in a large saucepan with the halved onion, carrot. celery ,lemon rind ,bay leaf and peppercorns . Add water and bring to the boil .Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until the chicken is cooked .

2 .Remove the chicken and set aside to cool. Bring the stock to the boil and boil until reduced to about 625 ml . Strain and reserve the stock .Cut the cooled chicken into pieces ,without the skin and bones .

3 . Fry the chopped onions until softened in 55 g of the butter . Add the flour and cook gently, stirring for 2-3 minutes .Gradually stir in the reserved stock and the milk .Bring to the boil ,stirring constantly then simmer for 1-2 minutes until thick and smooth. Remove from the heat ,add the chicken and season. Leave to cool then stir in the cheese and eggs .
      

4 . Melt the remaining butter and use a little to grease a deep metal baking pan . Cut the pastry sheets in half width ways .Line the pan with one sheet of pastry and brush it with a little melted butter .Repeat with half of the pastry sheets . Spread the filling over the pastry ,then top with the remaining pastry sheets , brushing each with butter and tucking down the edges. Bake in a preheated oven , 190 degrees C 5 for about 50 minutes until golden. Serve warm .

Pie making tips:
Read the recipe in its entirety before beginning .Make sure you have all of the ingredients and utensils and that you understand all of the directions .Many mistakes have been made skipping steps .

Cold ingredients are essential to making a great pie crust it even helps to have cold bowls and utensils in addition , be sure to chill the dough for at least an hour before rolling it out .Keeping the shortening cold ensure a nice flaky crust !

Don't overwork or over handle the dough .Your shortening /butter should be coated with flour mixture , not blended with it .Over processing causes gluten to form , a substance that toughens the dough .It's even a good idea to have cold hands before handing .

Make sure that all your ingredients are really fresh .Try making fruit pies when the fruits are in season to ensure a wonderful pie .

Chicken Lasagna

2 tbsp olive oil
900 g fresh ground chicken 
1 garlic clove ,finely chopped
4 carrots, chopped
4 leeks , sliced
500 ml chicken stock
2 tbsp tomato puree
115 g Cheddar cheese ,grated
625 ml hot bechamel sauce
115 g dried no-precook lasagna
salt and pepper

bechamel sauce

625 ml /1 pint milk
1 bay leaf
6 black peppercorns                           
2 slices of onion                                            
mace blade
4 tbsp butter
6 tbsp plain flour
salt and pepper
Parmesan
   shavings , to serve                                      

method
1 . To make the bechamel sauce , pour the milk into a saucepan and add the bay leaf , peppercorns , onion and mace . Heat gently to just below boiling point, then remove from the heat ,cover infuse for 10 minutes , then strain . Melt the butter in a separate saucepan . Sprinkle in the flour and cook over low heat , stirring constantly , for 1 minute . Gradually stir in the milk , then bring to the boil and cook , stirring until thickened and smooth . Season .

2 . Heat the oil in a heavy based saucepan .Add the chicken and cook over medium heat ,breaking it up wit a wooden spoon for 5 minutes or until browned all over . Add the garlic carrots and leeks ,and cook .Stirring occasionally for 5 minutes . Stir in the chicken stock and tomato puree and season with salt and pepper .Bring to the boil ,reduce the heat cover and simmer for 30 minutes .

3 . Whisk half the Cheddar cheese into the hot bechamel sauce . In a large ovenproof dish ,make alternate layers of the chicken mixture , lasagna and cheese sauce , ending with a layer of cheese sauce .Sprinkle with the remaining Cheddar cheese and bake in a preheated oven , 190 degrees C for 1 hour or until golden brown and bubbling .Serve immediately , with Parmesan shavings .

1 . Place the oil ,maple syrup , garlic, oregano, pepper flakes , salt and pepper in a large shallow plate or bowl and mix together .

2 . Slice the chicken across the grain into slice 2.5 cm /1 inch thick .Toss in the marinade until well coated .Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours , turning occasionally .

3 . Heat a griddle pan until hot . Lift the chicken slices from the marinade with a slotted spoon , lay on the griddle pan and cook over medium- high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side , or until cooked through . Remove the chicken to a warmed serving plate and keep warm .

4 . Add the peppers , skin slide down, to the griddle pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side . Transfer to the serving plate .

5 . Serving with the guacamole in the warmed tortillas .

Louisiana Chicken


Ingredients
Serves 4

5 tbsp corn oil
6 tbsp plain flour                                           
4 chicken portions
1 onion, chopped
2 celery stalks , sliced
1 green pepper ,deseeded
     and chopped
2 garlic cloves ,  finely chopped
2 tsp chopped fresh thyme
2 fresh red chillies, deseeded
    and finely chopped
400 g canned
    chopped tomatoes
300 ml chicken stalk
salt and pepper
lamb's lettuce and chopped
  fresh thyme, to garnish

Method

1 . Heat the oil in a large , heavy-based saucepan or flameproof casserole . Add the chicken and cook over medium heat , stirring ,for 5-10 minutes or until golden .Transfer the chicken to a plate with a perforated spoon .

2 . Stir the flour into the oil and cook over very low heat , stirring constantly ,for 15 minutes or until light golden . Do not let it burn . Add the onion , celery and green pepper and cook , stirring constantly for 12 minutes . Add the garlic, thyme and chillies and cook , stirring for 1 minute .

3 . Stir in the tomatoes and their juice , then gradually stir in the stock .Return the chicken pieces to the pan , cover and simmer for 45 minutes , or until the chicken is cooked through and tender . Season with salt and pepper ,transfer to warmed serving plates and serve immediately , garnished with lamb's lettuce and a sprinkling of chopped thyme .

Spicy Tomato Chicken

This quick and easy grilled chicken kebab recipe is complete with a healthy soy sauce and clear honey .This is a little taste that makes for some easy cooking !


All the heavy lifting for marinating meat is done in advance and then skewers are cooked right before serving .One more positive side of this recipe .Make sure to soak the wooden sticks in water well in advance to prevent burning .

Alternatively , these can be cooked in the oven ,using broil at the end for color is a plus . 
Ingredients

serves 4
500 g  skinless , boneless
chicken breast
3 tbsp tomato puree
2 tbsp clear honey                                               
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
250g cherry tomatoes
fresh rosemary sprigs, to garnish
cooked  rice ,to serve

Method
1 . Using a sharp knife , cut the chicken into 2-5 cm / 1 inch chunks and place in a bowl .Mix the tomato puree honey , soy sauce and rosemary together in a separate bowl , then add to the chicken , stirring to coat evenly .

2 . Soak 8 wooden skewers in a bowl of cold water for 30 minutes to prevent them burning during cooking .Preheat the grill to medium . Thread the chicken pieces and cherry tomatoes alternately onto the skewers and place them on a grill rack .

3 . Spoon over any remaining glaze and cook under a preheated hot grill for 8-10 minutes , turning occasionally , until the chicken is cook through .Transfer to 4 large serving plates , garnish with a few springs of fresh rosemary and serve with freshly cooked  rice .

If you have time , take the shrimp out of the freezer and put it in the refrigerator the night before cooking to let it thaw .Or quickly thaw the shrimp under some running water .

11/4 lbs medium shrimps , peeled and deveined
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
3 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1/4 tsp salt
3 garlic cloves , minced
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
4 tsp olive oil

Method
1 .Preheat oven to 400 degrees .

2 .Coat 4 individual gratin dished with cooking spray .

3 . Divide shrimp among dishes ; set aside .

4 .Combine breadcrumbs and next 4 ingredients ,stir in juice and oil .

5 . Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture over shrimp.

6. Place dishes or a baking sheet .

7 . Bake at 400 degrees for 13 minutes or until shrimp are done and breadcrumbs are lightly browned .

Overnight Blueberry Coffee Cake

1 egg
1 cup sugar
11/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 salt
1/3 cup milk
3 tbsp butter, melted
1 cup blueberries
2 tbsp sugar

Method
1 . In a bowl , beat egg and 1/2 cup sugar. Combine flour ,baking powder and salt in medium sized bowl .

2 . Alternate adding egg mixture and then the milk to flour mixture , beating well after each addition .

3 . Stir in melted butter.

4 . Fold in blueberries .

5 .Pour into a greased 8 inch square pan , sprinkle with 2 tbsp of remaining sugar .

6 . Cover and refrigerate overnight .

6 . Next morning , remove from refrigerator and put on counter for 30 minutes .

7 .Preheat oven to 350 degrees .

8 .Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean .
 
Cake baking tips:
Make sure the eggs are at room temperature before adding to the butter mixture , if the eggs come straight out of the fridge ,the butter mixture may curdle .Also add the eggs , one at a time , beating well before adding the next one , this will also help prevent the cake mixture curdling .

It's best to crack the egg into a small bowl before adding to the cake mix , just to make sure the egg is fresh and without any blood .It also makes sure no egg shell gets cracked into the cake .

When adding the flour and milk , add them in alternating batches , and stir gently with a wooden spoon .This is so you don't overwork the flour making a more rubbery cake .
